Hi Ivan
Yes I replied to Bertha's Mail and it has re-opened the ticket
I followed the intructions
FAT32 formatted USB drive - loaded the patch files - placed USB in N2200 & pressed copy button
This should have enabled Https - however get the 'cannot load webpage'
access on http - get the thecus blue graphic but its distorted & cannot enter password
OFF:
Dear Ivan!
Sorry about my OFF, but you are the only active Thecus moderator...
PLS help me, where can I download the latest N299 beta firmware (maybe 1.00.37) because I can't find it on thecus site?
Thanks,
Lepesi GYorgy

Support have still not replied - I am very frusttrated at this as I have to install a second 1tb drive but cannot get into the settings. Surely there must be a solution or do I have a faulty unit? In every other way it is working i.e. I have 400gb media that is streaming to my PS3 and accessible from my PC as mapped folders
I just cant get into admin to add my second drive!!
thanks
To help diagnose the problem, you can modify the patch file THECUS.N0204.PATCH, keep the same unix format line endings.
You can put any command you like in there, and reinstall the patch using the same steps as Thecus advise.
One idea of a diagnostic command:
ln -s / /raid/data/NAS_Public/rootlink
Lets you browse with ftp or shared folder to almost anywhere, example /etc/cfg/ and copy the files out to send to support.
Have some caution, the wrong command here could stuff things up hehe.
Hi Mishav
Thanks - However I cannot get the Patch into the NAS box as the USBCOPY input via usbstick does not work i.e. it simply copies the patch to a folder.
Hi Suggs, I found the same behaviour at first, until I followed the instructions more precisely. The timing is critical, if you wait 4 seconds or 11 seconds before pressing the button, it will not run the patch.
Also, make sure the button gets pressed firmly for about a half a second.
If the patch runs, it should make a long beep sound.
Mishav - Thanks for a speedy reply!
This sounds promising - I think if anything I waited about 15 secs to 'be sure'
At work now so cant try until I get home but will post as soon as!!
Thanks again
UPDATE: No No No Tried & tried but the Patch has no effect - i think the box has had it - Thanks for your help
