Thecus - Ivan: Does Thecus stress-test its NAS systems?

Hello Thecus - Ivan: How does your NAS handle an overheat situation? Does Thecus ever tested the NAS in that condition? What happen when the ambient temperature is too high?

I hope you would answer: "Our NAS system will shutdown in the event ambient temperature exceeded threshold limit."

If that is not the answer, I will stop buying Thecus NAS from now on.

Other competitors out there implement this shutdown feature in their much cheaper NAS.

    Dear Rhumba,

Which NAS model are you referring to?

When you say the ambient temperature is too high, can you be more specific as to how high?

Other competitors with shut down function, can you be more specific on that as well?
