    Cat hair and speakers

    I really want to take the grills off my speakers but I'm wary as I've got a cat. If a cat hair (or more likely, hairs) floats onto an exposed cone will any damage result?

    The exposed cones will still be 'hair-tight' won't they? The trick will be trying to clean them without damaging them...

    Both floor standers and stand mounted as it's a surround sound setup.

    Thankfully the cat is well trained and doesn't savage the furniture so I don't have to worry about that!

    Safer to remove than the cat clawing the grill fabric and damaging the cones underneath.

    I have 4 cats and no matter how many scratch posts in the house they prefer the edge of divan beds, sections of carpet etc.
