    Curved OLED TVs

    So, LG are the first to announce the release of their curverd OLED TV (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-22335776)

    Whats peoples opinions of them? Are the the future TV? Anyone seen one of the prototypes first hand at CES?

    I can see the point, but it kind of limits the amount of people that can get the optimum viewing angle...

    However as a monitor...

    A nice double width curved 1080p display would do me fine.

    Yeah, means the room has to be organised around the sceen really doesn't it. Also, would I be right in assuming these will be 4K and 3D?

    Ja, seems to make more sense as a single-user display (in which case the curve could be even greater, though compensating software would have to be used to ameliorate the 'warping' effect on 3d apps)...
