    New York Style Baked Beans

This Recipie was given to me by my cousins in New York (state )

It goes fantastically with cold meats and a little saute potato.

    Ingredents:

    Tin of Baked Beans
    Few Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
    Teaspoon of mustard (powder )
Black Treacle/Maple Syrup ( I was able to bring back some locally produced syrup from NY )
    Tomato Ketchup

In an oven dish, empty 1/2 the tin of beans

Mix the sugar & mustard and sprinkle half of it over the beans

cover with the rest of the beans, then finish sprinking with the sugar/mustard mix.

drizzle a bit of syrup/tracle over the top and the same with the ketchup.

bake in a gas mark 4 or so oven for about 40 mins.

Should serve 3 as a side dish , to make more , just multiply everythign else up
