Not so good at the mo...
Missed out on a job lot of 50 AMD CPUs on Ebay so I'm keeping my eye out for them there... I'm trying to keep it to AMD chips but any Intel are welcome too.

I've got an old xp1700 (palomino) and a xp2200 (which I think is dead) which are so out of date you can have them. I'll pop em in a jiffy bag and send them to you. Just need an address.

Re: Wanted: Old AMD Chips of any age, not working / working etc
PM me your address pls I have a brown socket A duron with your name on it
![]() I am making a trip to the post office tomorrow, so if you be quick you can have it sooner... Any ideas of how to post a bare chip without it getting damaged? I don't have one of those plastic boxes for it. I might just sandwich it in some cardboard. with some sponge to protect the pins. |

Re: Wanted: Old AMD Chips of any age, not working / working etc
I have what i believe is an AMD chip (Very old though, possibly a Duron)
Also have 3 Old intel chips if you ever require them. I'll spread the word to the guru3d uk members - The veterans there love a geeky project. As a sidenote. Motherboards under a sheet of glass as a table would look quite awesome, if you either trim all the top off to make them equally level or flatten the top and use the bottom ^^ Will update with what i find and post for free. A few pounds postage is worth seeing this thing complete. |

Still looking? During a tidy up I discovered an old P3 and an Athlon XP2500+ - they're yours if you want them.

I think I have a 1400 t'bird and XP2200+ in the loft somewhere. Lemme know if you want them and I'll pass them onto your Mum next time I'm in the office.
