Wanted: Old AMD Chips of any age, not working / working etc

I'm collecting these for a little project I have going on...

Anyone got anything in a cupboard/drawer/dog that they're not using?

I can pay a little money (postage etc) but not much else, so dead chips are better!

(pretty purple / brown ceramics are good too!)

    Thanks all!

    Tigs

I think I've got a (working) AMD chip you can have. 800 MHz I think it is. I've got no use for it, so I can send it your way if I haven't already thrown it away... I'll have to check when I get home.

How old do you want, got a 600mhz slot A athlon about somewhere at home (complete with motherboard aswell if you want it). Should still be working, not tested though.

That is in Essex, but if you are in no rush that should be available. Given the Golden Retriever a shake aswell, doesn't seem to have produced any further AMD chips though.

No, no rush, just seeing if my project is viable... need quite a few

As long as they're pretty much the "standard" AMD look and feel, socket A styley (but i believe the chips are still teh same size, just the cores / pins change) then that;s cool.

basically, Tbirds, pallys, tbreds, tbredB's bartons preferably. I think 939 ones will work too, but need to check tonight!
