Messenger Bag
Looking for a smart, smallish messenger bag for taking to work. Anyone bought one online/offline recently and can recommend any bag/shop?
I like this one or this, but I wouldn't mind spending a bit less... Cheers |

Re: Messenger Bag
I saw some nice crumpler ones recently but they were probably the wrong sort of thing that you were looking for

Re: Messenger Bag
I should have mentioned that I am not gay Tak, so half of those are not of my taste
![]() The 2nd last one is ok, but I prefer the one from JL as it is a lot thinner... and wow, everyone should click on the last one to see that! |

Re: Messenger Bag
crumpler gear i've found to not only be horrifically over priced, but also damn un-comfy for a long term wearing!
for stuff like this its really worth looking in person at the shops, they will be clearing the summery stuff out now, to make space for the scalfs/overcoats, so you will probably find some good sales on. So i'd go out in person a looking, and find something thats comfy. Plus iirc its GS your working at, so you have to look smart, last thing you want to do is look like some scruffy new media type.

Re: Messenger Bag
The bag I saw was a Crumpler "super snipe" for £10 at QVC outlet retail store [only 2 stores in the uk].
Was only available in rust (orange) or dark dark green. ![]() Mac fancier > white macbook base spec .................. CS: muddyfirebang

Re: Messenger Bag
Hmm, not bad, I will check out M&S and Burton too... I guess that I should also try out shops like Next and River Island, they might have something nice at a good price

Good places to check are shoe shops/gentlemen's out fitters, they often have the smart ones, and if your lucky you can find them on clearance. That said the one i used with my suite was my johnny walker promotional one. Looked smart, carried a book + pad + etc. And was FREE (some brain cells might of been killed along the way).
