Wanted: Short Wave receiver

OK, so I have my Ham Bands Tranceiver, but I originally only wanted a SW receiver to ease me back gently into the hobby.....

Anyone got an old, new or broken shortwave receiver they dont want ?

Ideally 500KHz to 30MHz, but hey, whatever I can get will be well loved

It's a no go, all he had was a 1940's thing from the war, which he got rid of not long after I moved out mate, thought he had something but it appears not, oh well was worth an ask
