| Wanted: Scart Lead Just wondering if anyone has one of the Scart to Scart leads which I can connect a DVD Player to a freeview box. I don't know what I am looking for so what are the best inputs out of the following?:
I don't know what is the best out of there but I have a Freeview box with Scart out and so need a scart lead. I also have DVD player with:
So the best connections from that to the TV would be best. Please post a price. |

| ive got a few flat scart leads here. just standard scart leads for using with dvd players and sky boxes etc. if its just one you want send me a few quid and its yours for postage really. £2 for one? |

| i wont answer that as theres alot of people that moan about cheap cables and stuff. im not an audiphile by any means, if it displays it clearly then im happy. these are just bog standard scart leads mate, that are flat though so can be hidden better. its up to you, ive got a few lmk |

| ive not got any idea about the pic quality on a lcd, ive only evwer used them on crt's and i can complain about them. ![]() at £2, i dont think youll be dissapointed, you do afterall get what you pay for matey, and theres scart leads out there that cost 100x more than this one pm me if you want one though by all means |

| OK, thanks for the reply. If it is ok by you I will wait until the Dell TV turns up and then have a play around with which inputs there are, if I do need a scart then I will PM you. By the way, I think you missed a " 't " on one of your words Hopefully it will have arrived by Saturday so I will PM you. On the other hand if anyone has a good one (boxed or made by Belkin or another well known manufacturer) then please post. |

| To be honest a scart lead is fine, even the cheaper ones, provided they aren't more than about 1M long, beyond that, then you're looking at better quality ones which have thicker cables. My dad is an audiophile and has worked for the beeb for over 25 years, as well as my grandad being a tv engineer - they both use bog-standard flat scart cables, so one of those will do you perfect - another advantage of the flat cables is you tend to get less cross-talk like you do with twisted cable systems.
