| Re: H50 mounting bracket for 1156 socket I have an estimate of mid September at this point. When they are initially released they will likely be available in our store or via tech support before the retail units make it to the shelves. | Re: H50 mounting bracket for 1156 socket I don't understand why so many companies havn't got mounting kits out for a socket that is meant is to mainstream. Its not as if Intel have sprung this on anyone.... bit of a farce really. ![]() To infintiy, and beyond! |

| Re: H50 mounting bracket for 1156 socket Yeah, i agree. I'm waiting on this one bracket so i can go and order the rest of my build. I really don't want to run the stock cooler in the mean time either. Only good thing is the more i wait the more the prices of the P55 gear seem to stabilise. |

| Re: H50 mounting bracket for 1156 socket Any update ![]() Got a H50 going to waste here, I mean seriously how hard is it to fab up a plastic bracket?!, and if you don't have an update can you get on the phone to Asetek or whoever and give them a bloody good *******ing Intel Core i5-750 | MSI P55 GD65 | ATi X1900XT 512MB | G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB DDR3 PC12800 1600MHz | Corsair TX 750W |

| Re: H50 mounting bracket for 1156 socket Anything? I'm also waiting for the mounting kit to get my build up and running. It's surprising really, I'd have thought Corsair would be on top of this. I'm not one of those people who think that a single purchase will in any way affect a company of Corsair's size, but I haven't yet bought the RAM for my build, and it's looking more and more likely that when I do it won't be from Corsair. I'm actually thinking of getting a generic 1156 backplate and trying to mod one of the mounting brackets so it'll fit. |
