Unhappy ipod Classic - Screen Flickers / Locates Slow

I have an ipod Video 30G that is less than a year old. I use it in my iM7 stereo dock. The ipod just stopped working. I charged it on my computer and it's working again but the screen flickers and when I click to the songs it seems to be moving slow (lag time). Any suggestions?

Take it to an Apple Store and get a replacement under warranty.
