    Abit late but hello :)

    Hello Hexus people.

Abit late to post in here as I have posted elsewhere already

My pc knowledge isn't great but like to help out where I can...however you'll find it is I that need the most help.

Found this forum through...well reading the main Hexus web pages and thought I'd ask for help when my PC went poop.

Overall, thoroughly think this forum is great.

I'll update my profile here when I can be bothered... (...yes I am rather a lazy bum).

Little background info on me; I've been building PCs since late 1999/early 2000 learning mostly by trial and error. Stopped around 2003/2004, didn't keep up with technology..then in 2007 decided to build a new rig which I have yet to try to overclock.

My previous machine was a Barton 2500+ on an Abit mobo (forgot the name now...) running at 3200+ speeds on a Thermalright 90mm all copper heatsink with a 92mm Tornado fan (was that thing LOUD at full belt!!). Not bad for trial and error, self learning overclocking but more could have been had if I had been brave enough to up Vcore voltage...could have been NB voltage holding me back...hmm I don't know.

I'll shut up now and go back to lurking

Hello there sleepyhead, yes those Bartons were great things-much akin to core 2 duos now -great performers.
