Where do i post questions about my laptop?
hello there
i joined this highly recommended group to try and get over my fear for pc's... i am a converted mac person and normally wouldn't touch a pc unless i have to... and all of a sudden i did have to. There are a lot more freewares for PC's and really none for macs so i decided to have a go. my laptop has been nothing but trouble and in the end it met the floor at some velocity. It was still working at the time but the adoptor cable was bent. So when it run out of battery power it died. I have since got a new toshiba adaptor cable but it still wont worrk. There is a slight crack next to where the power lead goes in. I know that if i hand it into pc world they will charge me as much as the laptop is worth, but i really need the stufff on the hard drive, i read somewhere on this site that on another laptop you can change the connection. Is this possible on a toshiba laptop as well? |
