Hi all,
Like others I joined to get free delivery from Scan. After having a browse around here though I can see myself coming back as it is a good site.
I am mainly into home cinema and was going to order some stuff from Scan via avforums.com but they have stopped free delivery from there. Now I can see myself spending more money on computer parts as well ![]() Cheers, Graham |

Re: Hi all,
welcome graham.. we'll soon be getting you to build a HTPC and a NAS to store all your home movies on, unless you already have one.. then we'll be getting you to upgrade them with newer bits...
HEXUS.. it sucks all your money and requires a second mortgage.. |

Re: Hi all,
Thanks for the tips and replies.
And to stevie lee. I have thought about building a HTPC but my next step is to upgrade my two REL Storms to an SVS PC-Ultra. Can you get a card to send HDMI (with HDCP) and also bitstream the audio so my Onkyo 905 can decode it? Cheers, Graham |

Re: Hi all,
umm let me think...
possibly the Asus xonar or the auzentech prelude combined with an ATI 3xxx or 4xxx series with the HDMI audio passthrough enabled.. however i'm not the best person to ask on these things... I'm using component out from my audigy2zs to a NAD T761 and B&W 600 series speakers and still using d-sub for my monitor.. have a read around this section.. http://forums.hexus.net/audio-visual-standard-hd/.. the folks in there know more than me... |
