hi, just started here after being a member on TPU for a while

Joined this site cus I'm always reading reviews on here, and since I have started using Scan, I noticed they always link to hexus for reviews. Then I found out that scan rewards hexus members with free delivery, so I thought I would broaden my forum presence and join here too. I'm nearly at my 1000th post on TPU!

Don't worry I'm not going to SPAM, lol. But it should be good to get some more people's opinions on stuff anyway. i especially want to here what you guys think of the R700 (4870X2) as I am hopefully getting one of those when it comes out (heading over there shortly )

I'm glad hexus uses vbulliten (or however you spell it ) cus i don't have to get used to another format after using TPu for so long.

Well enough me and TPu, here is what I am going to be upgrading my system with over the next month or so. Let me know what you think!

Lol. Didnt notice I hadnt actually mentioned what TPu stood for, lol.

Do Any of you know how to create a sig. i coudnt find a link for it in the UserCp. Do i have to wait 24hrs or somethign, or i am just lookin in the wrong place?

only 1 4870x2? you should be ashamed.. crossfire 4 of them (ATI revealed they working on drivers to annoy nvidia).. then watch your electric bills be the highest gainer in the country. who cares about the monster FPS in games when your electric bill has so many high numbers too!!

midnight synchronisation activation ritual whatnot - try again in the morning, it doesn't just magically happen at the stroke of midnight though. I think you need to log off and back on again for the new settings to activate..


alot of things around here tend to synch up at midnight..

even the mad gut wrenched howlings of the server monkeys tend to be more harmonious - quite soothing once you get used to it...

read the scan setup link.. its used to associate the free postage.. there is a method of finding it out using the guide in the link, but it's easier just telling you..


I assume you'll be using it.. you did mention using scan in your first post..

Just one more question. I have just signed up to the free scan delivery. Other than the minimm spending limit. Are there any other restrictions?

Maximum number of free deliveries.
No more than x a month
Upto a certain basket amount?
Or is it only one free delivery?
