Hello to one and all
Hi I just put together an ECS A780GM-A M/B and I'm not having much luck with the sound.In Cmos it shows it is on, but in the control panel under sound audio it's like it isn't there.Tried going to ECS web site and down loaded a new driver with no luck.I would like some Ideas as how to solve the problem.

If you are running Windows XP you need to install the Microsoft HD Audio patch.

Hi there Yes I had in stalled the the audio Drivers.I also tried with no luck to get in contact with ECS and it seemed no wanted to talk I also left messages that was not returned.Sooo I return the board to tiger direct.ca and they were good to take it back and refund my cash.Then went out and bought a Foxconn A7DA-S install the M/B no fuss no muss and it's running like a champ!!!Thanks for you interest and your time.It wasn't the board so much as the poor support from ECS that did it....
