Hello! Nvidia or AMD?

Hi all, I thought I'd introduce myself with a question to you all:- which GPU do you side with and why? I'm Nvidia all the way, my first dedicated GPU was the Geforce 2 MX, not the best card for it's time, but it did the job for many years before I really got into building systems. The second GPU was an 8800GTS, a sweet card but... It couldn't play Crysis!!! Lol!!! I upgraded following the cards self-destruction to a GTX 460, This card lives to this day, along with the rest of my '07 hardware (C2D 6420, p5n32e 4gb) as the family pc! Current GPU is a Kepler unit and my first proper high end card the GTX680 backed up by some tidy Ivy Bridge power... So, what's your choice? Tell me your story!

Hello! As it says in the stickies, please don't post questions in this welcome part of the forum. If you're a genuine person we have a dedicated board to graphics cards which will probably be more suitable

Though might I suggest something we can actually get our teeth into rather than brand x vs brand y? That way we can discuss the technical merits etc. without resorting to fanboyism Or maybe you have a new take on it that's interesting You can look at previous posts (don't forget to use the options at the bottom of the page to look back further than the last month) or the search box to see if it's been asked before.
