Hello! Very new
Hi there just thought I would introduce myself.
I am new to the PC scene - got my first one about two years ago and I went wth a Dell. I chickened out of building my own for this time round and went with Alienware! Please don't flame me for this - I know the reasons why I should not have gone with them. But some people just aren't as confident or technically minded as others. My new rig was ordered in September and has STILL NOT arrived because of the delay in getting the 6800 Ultra! Since that time the FX55 has been released, AMD have gone PCIE and now SLI is coming through! Sometimes I hate this crazy hobby of mine. Any way I look forward to discussing things with you guys! If anyone is from Birmingham in the UK give me a shout! |

Thanks mate I could do with the help!
To be honest if I don't get a ship date from Alienware soon (I ordered my system on September 29!!!) I think I'm gonna cancel. Decided to join this forum after reading in Custom PC how people were annoyed at the delays on the 6800s! |

 I know the feeling - I too was waiting for a 6800U but I've decided to get 2 x 6800GT's instead You'll be picking up loads of advice and info as theres a HELL of a lot of clever folks on this forum and in no time they'll all have you squeezing and caressing every Mhz out of all your lovely components

2x6800GTs? And here I am, still playing happily with my vanilla 9600 (although it will probably have to be changed for the next lot of games!)
