Hello from, err, sunnny Scotland?
Hi guys, John from Edinburgh taking the plunge and finally signing up to Hexus forums. Actually I've been a reader of this site pretty much since it started, reviewing very much smaller items like rounded cables (they were all the rage back then) and everything blu LED orientated....ahhh the memories
 Just thought I'd introduce myself to you folk, I'm currently studying at the Edin Uni as a PhD postgrad in nanotechnology having completed a masters in electrical and mechanical. I've been mucking about with all things electronic since I was a kid and when not dismantling things and trying to put them back to gather again you'll find me tearing around in the countryside singletrack on my mountain bike  Hope to enjoy being here as I need to start supporting my "local" technology sites more  word. Hello sir, always nice to meet someone from Edinburgh: I'm from London but visit my girlfriend in Grassmarket every other weekend although I don't know how you cope with so many hills...beautiful city though, really love it
