automatically add additional windows components at install time

My google-fu seems to be weak on this one.

I've got most of my unattended install options sorted that loads the drivers I need etc. the last block I need to overcome is how do I automatically add additional windows components during the setup or is there another way to achieve this (this is for windows xp - I’ve yet to touch customising a Windows 7 install)

It is but (there is always a but) you have the possibility of not being able to install service packs because the SP installer decides that some critical windows component is missing. So be careful that you don't choose to remove too much from the install; I got bitten this way

That does NOT give you the option to add the additional windows components; unless i have over looked something (used nlite to slipstream sp3; other updates and customise the install) just finishing this off with IE8 and MP11 and i might try to put .NET in too (got a vm to test this on so no worrys)
