    LibreOffice updated and won't start

Just installed v3.6 of LO, was running 3.5.2, and keep getting error messages when trying to start LO or open an associated file:
    -----------------------------------------------------------
    Unhandled exception:
    cannot get uno environments!
    -----------------------------------------------------------
no, it's not "OK"! Click on OK anyway (no choice) and get a box:
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!

    Program: D:\Program Files\libreOffice\program\soffice.bin

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

    OK
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Click on OK and then:
    -------------------------------------------------------------
LibreOffice 3.6 has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

For more information about this error, click here
    -------------------------------------------------------------
clicking "click here" just give a load of stuff that's meaningless to me.

Anyone encountered this problem/found out how to fix it, please?

Re: LibreOffice updated and won't start

'tis OK - I eventually found the answer in LibreOffice forums (not well developed yet - the forums, that is). The old Extensions folder needs to be renamed or deleted before installing the update or the previous installation removed (FF & TB are so simple by comparison).
Apparently 3.5.2 -> 3.5.3 is OK but if the update is 3.5.x -> 3.6.x then there be trouble ahead.
