    Audio/Video between laptop and TV.

This is gonna be probably a daft question but I'm giving an old W7 Sony Vaio EE3E0E to my girlfriend's mum as we're upgrading and her old computer is guff. The laptop will be sitting on a desk to be used normally but also connected to a TV for watching films occasionally.

For laptop use, the resolution is 1,366x768 and the sound would be from the laptop speakers

For TV use, the laptop screen would be turned off and it'll run at 1080p with the sound through HDMI. The TV is a 50 inch so the desktop icons and stuff will need to be zoomed up to 150% so that she can see it properly.

My question is, is there any way to have a desktop shortcut (or two) set up to switch between these two configurations? I'm thinking to myself that the when you change the zoom setting on Windows 7 you need to log off for it to take effect so I'd probably have to set up two users on the system, one for each config.

Thanks for any help, I'm just trying to pre-empt about a million phone calls from her on why the screen is blank or there's no sound!

FN+F7 isn't simple enough? But yes:
    Opens Display Switch
    %windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe
Switches to External or "Projector" Display Immediately
    %windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /external
Switches to "Computer only" Display Immediately
    %windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /internal
    Switches to "Duplicate" Display Immediately
    %windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /clone
    Switches to "Extend" Display Immediately
    %windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /extend

Sound is probably a bit more awkward unless windows is clever enough to switch with display?

Wish it were that easy but she's not great with computers.

Need to format it and secure it before I give it to her so I'll have a mess about and see what I can do.
