Internet Explorer 11 and Google Search (UK) Am I going mad?

A combination of a glitchy Nvidia Driver and battery use on my Surface Pro has prompted me to uninstall Chrome on my PC and Surface. I've turned to trusty internet explorer 11 and installed addblock and an anti-tracking script.

When I go to set my default search provider as google I can not find it anywhere. I have followed the correct process and I'm definitely doing it right (Yahoo is an option for example) but no google anywhere.

Has anyone else had this problem in the UK?

Sorted it.

I had to create a custom XML document using this website:

http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/searchbuilder.asp

I've also seen options when searching google to update it that way but its defo not in the list provided by M$.
