windows 10 problem

Had windows 10 running for a couple of weeks ,liked it and was happy with the system until. The airplane mode turned on and would not shut off. My computer which is a desk top with an i7-3820 on and Asus Sabertooth MB, with 16 GB memory, Samsung EVO HD, GTX 970 SLI, and was running on windows 7 previously for 3 years with no problems all updates current. I tried the windows 10 restart and down load with no resolve. Unable to connect to the internet. The computer ran and showed I had an internet connection but remained in airplane mode???? I finally reinstalled windows seven and contacted Microsoft and they had no answer for the problem. I will continue to stay with seven, until Microsoft fixes the airplane mode or removes it for desk top units.

Did you by chance have any Cisco VPN software installed?

No I do not.

So the method for turning it on reversed did not work to turn it off?
