Well, it finally borked. My 360 Elite went from being a bit noisy to being really bloody noisy, so clever me I decided to open the bugger to see if there was anything making it sound like a 747. Nothing to see inside, so closed it up, plugged it in, and BOOM. RROD, three flashing red lights. The specific error code was 'general hardware failure/power failure'. I tried a different power brick to see if it was that, but no dice. I regret so much that I didn't just trade it in when I had the chance for a nice new quiet one, but can anyone out there suggest anything I can do other than selling it for scrap?
