![]() This has been benchmarked a few times now versus the GTX and the GTS G92 is at least on a par, if not slightly more powerful. The GT lags behind both of them. The benchmarks you have linked above, are all synthetic and not true readings from a benchmark performance. |

| Re: Buying Advice - new rig Thanks again Blitzen, I appreciate you helping out on this. So, lets re-jig spec to a 8800GTS G92. Also, will I need a 620W power supply? I think also becuase of the low price, ill pop a DVD RW burner in the machine as well - just so I can get the machine up and running as soon as its delivered. I can worry about popping my own hardware in at a later date. |

A good 500W+ PSU with at least 34A on the 12V will be more than enough. Brands such as Enermax/Corsair(although not at £60+)/Antec/PC P&C are all what i would aim for. Skimp on the PSU and you will live to regret it....unfortunately your components probably wont. |
