    Re: Bismarks - 3XS X58 Core I7 Build

    IT LIVES!!!!

Arrived Saturday morning; I unpacked it and tested it in the afternoon.

    Looks good...

It is not quite as quiet as my existing rig, but it does have 7 fans rather than 3 and is dissipating a lot more heat, so a little more noise is fine (a quiet hum...).

Now have to read all the manuals and bash Vista into shape (using the PCStats.com Vista optimisation guides ) before installing all the required programs. I will have to wait about a month before making it the main rig () as I have to carry out exhaustive testing with all my business programs and peripherals, and set everything up the way I want it.

I have already swapped my blue Diamondback 3G mouse for my green one on the existing desktop so as to match the colours (shame the Lycosa K/B only does blue, but I can live with that ).

    Nice build, Scan dudes

There is one tube located on the window side of inside of the case rear plate just above the PSU; a second tube is mounted on the rear of the front HDD cage, also on the window side.

Thanks for the reply Bismark, looks really nice, planning on getting this case as well.

The white cable running over the psu towards the hdd cages I guess that is the power cable for one of the tubes ?
