    Oh one other thing.

    this is my first build and this is a nooby question but will i need any other cables that may not come with the boxes?

    also, will i need any coolig device such as a fan

    you know what, if you want a good case which doesnt require any additional fans i'd say go for the antec 900, its £70 inc VAT, if thats too much, then go for the Thermaltake Soprano £51 inc VAT. its best to have one fan in front and back. as for cables if you buy a cheap mobo they'll prolly come with one sata cable and stuff. my asus a8v came with 6 so the asus packages are quite good.

    also, if you want a faster hard drive, then you should get the 250 Gb Samsung SP2504C SpinPoint P120, its the fastest thing behind the raptor for good money. plus its cheaper, you can get it at scan or md. then when you can spare another £50 you can buy another one and set it in a raid 0 for faster speed.

    Yeh, i know what you mean the case i have atm sucks and looks bad too but its cheap. Yeh i love the antec 900 seen it loads before but i could never get it inside my buget but changing that hard drive will now enable me to get it in i think :

    Ok how about this:

    oly problem is that hard drive looks good but the one i have atm is: SATA II the samsung is SATA III. not that i know what that means or is but im guessing that there is a difference. another thing is the MOBO. is it the right choice?

    According to the Official Samsung website that drive is rated at SATA 3.0 Gbps which in turn means it's SATA2/SATA300 so you shouldn't have any to worry about, compatibility wise.
