Nice clocks, I'm battling with a cooling problem right now. I think once I get my temperatures down I'm going to go for a higher FSB.

    24/7 puter never disconnected.
    qx6700 all stock.

    10x

    nuclearus v2 score 17411 marks

    bios 12.

all after bios 12 gave me worse OCability. especially 14 was awful here. could hardly boot any config.
shame coz on the striker extreme i could go to insane bus speeds...
on this board i have to be a LOT more tame but i suspect its a bios issue.

    Re: fatal1ty fp-in9 sli

    help needed!!!!

ive had this bought since it first came out. At first it was a really poor overclocker for me until i tried bios version 14. I had my e4300 (1.8ghz) up to 3ghz for a couple of months. One day i tidied up a few cables in my case and started up my machine. Upon reboot i was greeted with a message saying i was using unsafe settings and i needed to change them. So i reset my bios to default settings, but now whenever i try and raise the fsb to overclock my board just wont boot up at all. The board wont let me even add an extra 1mhz to the fsb.

any ideas how i can get my board back to overclocking?

    cheers

try FSB range 1333+. I can't post at anything between 801 to 1332. Anyone tried the new 14 German bios?

How on earth did you get 504MHz on an FP-IN9?! I've got an E6320 here that's fine at 500MHz on my 965P-DQ6 rev 1.0 and 540MHz on my 965P-DS3 rev 3.3, yet won't post over 425MHz on the FP-IN9. Even that requires 1.58vTT!

have you tried turning off the power on the psu i read a review stating that there is a 400fsb bug but if you pull the plug after changing settings if it fails to boot leave for 10 secs then power on that i will boot and keep your settings and not tried this my self but might be worth a shot

    Re: fatal1ty fp-in9 sli

If I needed 1.58vTT to get to 425MHz on the IN9, the CPU would've caught fire if I wanted to get much more out of it

How come I don't need any VTT increase on either P965 board to get the same clocks?

I stopped using the FP-IN9 mostly because of NVidia's crappy Vista drivers, but the crap overclocking was something I never really thought about 'till I got the Gigabyte boards... I assumed it was just the limit of the chip!

VTT is a chipset voltage not CPU.
Having said that if you look at Fguarezi he's down at 1.4V for VTT with higher fsb.

965 & nF6xxi are totally different designs with differnt behaviour/needs.

    Hello Guys,

Here some info to how overclock your E6XXX with BIOS 14. All test´s where made using BIOS 14 also.
I do made some test´s using BIOS 13/12, but for the E6XXX the BIOS 14 is far the BEST for over.
Remmenber that you MUST have a good CPU, there´s a LOT of people who can´t get a decent FSB and think that´s a motherboard problem, but is not.

    Fist my baby overclock.

I do have pictures of those config´s so if anyone need help or want to see those test´s please comment.

P.S: For me seens possible to run an FSB 460 ROCK SOLID ! So i dont have nothing to complain about this board.

    Re: fatal1ty fp-in9 sli

    Hello Azurael,

How can you get 3150 Mhz from your E6320 without increasing the vCORE ? In your signature you say that´s your CPU is running at 450 FSB at stock vCORE....

So you just put the CPU VTT to 1.58v and that´s it ? Here my CPU goes to 2.800 with stock vCORE, anything above this and i got erros on ORTHOS.

Can you write your config so i could do some test´s ? Also what multiplicator do you use in LDT Frequency ?

    Regard
