    650i boards - any news?

With the 680i (IN9-32MAX) board now arrived has anybody heard anything about when the 650i (SLI/Ultra) boards will be seen from ABIT?

I'm interested in this as well, especially if the 650 ultra is going to be a nice, overclockable single PCI-E with the guru clock.

Any more info when we can expect Abit to get these out to us?

Last news I got form abit was in a couple of weeks from now.

The only time I will do a modding guide is when I feel that it is needed mate. ALthrough the IN932 MAX is verystable board at stock speeds, the heatsink on the southbridge was not enough so it was impacting oin the northbrdige temps (as talked about before)

SO unless there is something like that that needs to be changed iWi lln ot od a modding guide onthis board. However I will be doing more detailed test results as you have asked for.

I'm really looking forward to this board. Hopefully it will not be subject to the worst of the idiosynchracies that plague the ASUS P5N-E SLi, which is a brilliant board, but you just can't always fugure out why it won't do what you were expecting

    ok folks

Its here in my hand right now, see other thread. I will be working on a review this weekend. Overclocked to from 2.4 to 3.2 already without changing voltage at all. IM well chuffed mate, and this board is going to blow you ALL away when you consider its price point.

Looking at getting oc's to rival its bigger brother, by the way itseems to run cooler and is more stable, full review will be posted next monday.

looking forward to wow-ing you all

MSI also have a P6N Platinum at just over £100 & the Gigabyte is ~£110 - both quite a bit dearer than the FP-IN9.
