Hi, just got this mobo, but the lowest Vcore I can set is 1.35??? I got an E6750 installed, and its default vcore is 1.25... but I cant set it!
Btw, I didn't flash the bios, so its BIOS 10.

I have the latest bios from the ABIT homepage, BIOS ID 14 (2007/09/06) for my IP35-Pro, with the Q6600 G0, the lowest vcore setting it will allow is 1.3250v, now it seems from reading various posts i should be able to drop the vcore lower than this, what else is needed to drop the vcore below 1.3250v?
The system is stable, however the temps could do with being a bit lower hence why i want to see if i can lower the vcore a tad.
Is BIOS ID 14 not the latest? If so where can i get the latest version?
Any advice appreciated.

of late it seems that abit are using the installed CPU's VID to set the manual vcore low threshhold.
are you using C1E & EIST to let the system adjust itself as required by load?

all I can suggest is that you enable C1E & EIST to let the system scale back when not needing to run at 3 GHz.
Buff thanks, but that wasn't really what i was asking, i don't really want to scale back my system, i want to know if i should be able to manually lower the vcore based on my current setup, from what i have read it should be possible, so does that mean i have a naff board/processor, if so i really want to get it replaced sooner rather than later.
I realise not all hardware will overclock the same, but surely if the vcore lower limit should be consistent across all IP35-Pro motherboards? Given the same bios version and CPU of course.
If it is like you mentioned, the CPU's vid that has limited the minimum vcore, how is this possible and can this be disabled.
I have been searching the net for more info on my processor, i know the maximum recommended vcore is 1.35V, as it currently stands my processor is close to this at its lowest/standard setting, surely this can't be right?
I should also mention, that even at standard speeds, the lowest vcore i can set is still 1.3250, so it is not restricted due to clock speed.
Would re-flashing the bios help perhaps?
Even if i can't change it, and have to accept my current temps based on the default vcore, which are well within limits, thats fine, but i would like to at least understand why this is.
My current temps for reference:
Q6600 G0 @ 3GHz (333x9, 1.3250v)
Idle = 35c
Load = 45c
Stress = 56c (Prime Stable, highest temp was 56c, average 52-54)
Sorry to keep pushing this but if anyone could help with some information on this, perhaps you have experienced the same with a similar setup, any help appreciated.

Given exactly the same CPU, yes but CPUs vary.
Get something like coretemp & check your CPU's VID.
I have heard of GOs with VID as high as 1.3250V & as low as 1.1625 with the median being ~1.2750.
