quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
Hi,
I have just installed ubuntu on a partition on my windows vista pc.
It seems to load through bios fine, but when i get to choose operating system, my usb keyboard no longer works.
I have had this setup running for a few months (just the vista) with no problems and i can still access bios, so the keyboard is working before this happens.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Tom
Re: quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
Try changing the bios option for the keyboard to os, or bios one of them should work.
Cant tell you what menu its in as my board is dead,so you,ll have to have a bit of a search.
Re: quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
Hey cheers for replying, but i'm not sure i get what you mean...i had a look around in the bios and couldn't find anything which related to just the keyboard :(
Re: quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
Theres an option in there relating to the mouse and keyboard, with the option to change it from bios to OS, its there tucked away in one of the sub menus as Im not going mad I hope.
Re: quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
ok will have another look :)
Re: quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
I can't see anything specifically relating to the mouse and keyboard, could it be called something obscure?
Re: quadgt dual boot vista/ubuntu usb keyboard not working
try integrated peripherals>onchip PCI device>onchip USB controller
