    IP-35 pro XE temps

    hello,

I made a post a while back about erratic temperature readings using Uguru and in the BIOS. They'd be about 10C higher than 3rd party programs and they would also fluctuate a lot, about 10C jumps sometimes. This was after a bad bios flash. I was using an IP-35 pro board.

My system builder recently changed the board for the XE version due to another issue. However, I'm getting the same issue with this board too. Could it be an incompatibility with the BIOS? A weird glitch I get as well is the shut down temperature is reporting as 255C, which is obviously silly.

    I have the v11 BIOS. Should I try flashing to v10? I'm using a B2 rev E6600 CPU.

    Thanks.

Strangely I was having a similar problem with the v10 BIOS reporting temperatures about 15C too high, and it was cured by flashing to v11.

Not very helpful I know, but it does seem to be a common problem with these boards and uGuru...

    Re: IP-35 pro XE temps

    hello,

I tried flashing to v10 from v11 and this seems to have done the trick. The temps seem a little dodgy every now and then but I'm ok with what I see right now, much better than before.

I had the exact same issue with my older Abit board, and again, the issue was cured by flashing to another specific bios.

    Weird eh?
