Whats the best CPU that will work on IP35-E then?

You may have noted my q9650 misery in one of the other threads. Given that this doesnt work, can you gurantee any 45NM processors will on your board?

What is the best processor (other than going QX) on a LGA775 that will fit into this board? Will a q9550 work?

I've got my system just about where it needs to be, and a rebuild i do not fancy entertaining again just yet. It's a music pc, so the amount of installed software is crazy. Very tempted to drop it all and go i7 tho

Well AFAIK any 65nm should be fine, so if its a quad you're after - just keep the Q6600.

Hi Fellas! Yeh it takes me about 1.52-1.54V, and my scythe ninja with fan. I tend to see 60 degrees idle lol. I have done about 4 remounts too, but thats as low as she goes! (G0 Kentsfield too)
