    abit AB9-QuadGT Bios 18

    Hi Guys.

As a proud user of the QuadGT, the big abit community and the reason that this board is not already forgotten here, i finally registered at Hexus.

And maybe I've got something some guys of you might wanna have.

I got Bios Nr. 18 from the abit Support some days ago.
The only thing i know is that E0 CPU's should work with it properly.
I don't know about any other changes because i did not get a changelog.

(I'm not allowed to post URLs so far so you may copy this one please)

Unfortunately I've no E0 CPU yet, so maybe someone else around here could test if it runs smoothly

    Re: abit AB9-QuadGT Bios 18

Sorry to necro-bump this thread but I have the ver. 17 BIOS right now and was wondering if anyone here has noticed any changes since going to the ver. 18 BIOS. Can't find a changelog anywhere.

I guess that the only change made is support of E0 Stepping CPUs

    Re: abit AB9-QuadGT Bios 18

    Bios 17 supported 45nm and 1333MHz FSB.
But when it came out C1 was available only.
Due to that there were some bugs when using an E0.

    Re: abit AB9-QuadGT Bios 18

As I have problems getting my new QX9650 SLAWN C1 to work with my AB9 Quad GT BIOS ID:17, is there any chance to get the ID:18 somewhere or via PM?
I am using WIN7 64 Ultimate and get always an FSB of 260 with CPU-Z. Benchmarks are similar to the slow FSB speed. The u-Guru software shows the FSB set in the BIOS, Everest too.
I changed the system from Win XP pro 32bit, where the QX9650 worked stable at 11x350.
So I would like to try it with the Beta BIOS.
