    Exclamation Abit AB9 QuadGT

    Hey Guys,

I'm doing some diagnositics on my AB9 QuadGT and I've recently fried the psu... I've done some testing and noticed that my CPU is fried because the post gets stuck on 8.7. So I've removed the CPU and started the system again, now it boots up and goes to 9.0. and then 9.6. then it goes back to 9.0. and just keeps on making noise. Is it possible to get beyond 9.0. without a CPU in the system? Also should there be video output? Because I've also fried my video card as well.

    POSTS:
    8.7. Check CPU core voltage
9.0. Complete uGuru initial process AWARD BIOS take over booting job
    9.6. De-Assert CPU core voltage

Any help would be great. Thanks.

You won't see any video output without a CPU installed. Also the post display will not go past 9.0. without the CPU.
