    ax78 64bit raid

    hi guys
having some issues constructing raid on this board, thought popping a question here, maybe someone had the same issue and can shed some light on the matter.
it goes like this: run as smoothly as possible w7 64bit, no issues what so ever until I've decided to try raid 0 with 2 6400aaks. no go. kept freezing after updating dmi pool following the 3rd installation restart when it should boot from hdd or after first boot during installation. after several failed attempts with 64bit w7 I've decided to try 32bit version and it installed with no issues. given this and the fact that during w7 install, when it requires raid drivers, selecting 64bit drivers results in "this drivers contain no information about your hardware" (or something like that), I've concluded that provided 64bit raid drivers are and this board does not support 64bit raiding.
has anyone manage to install w7 64bit on raid 0 with this board and I'm missing something or my conclusion is correct?
    thx

Don't know how many abit users there are left in here, but I suspect your conclusion that the 64 bit driver is buggy is correct. Out of interest, have you tried RAID 1 (and why would you want RAID 0 anyway) Yoiu would probably be better off using logical volumes from within windows rather than raid 0.
