    IP35 PRO usb storage issues

    got an icybox with an 80gb drive in but i cant get to it in win xp on my ip35 pro.

    there is a safely remove hardware icon bottom right of start bar,but in my computer no device have tried a couple of drives. none come up in my computer

    anyone got any ideas.

    I've seen this with loads of USB drives. If you go to disk Manager (right click My computer, Manage, Disk Management) you should be able to see your drive there.

    You can reassign a drive letter there or just right click and open it.

    Is the HDD formatted? you can't use a drive in an icy box if its not been pre-formatted

    have you tried other usbs?
    is this one working?

    if yes, then check the above posts. if there is still a problem try using the hdd inside your pc to check if it's alive!
