    fatality AN9 32X and AN9 32x recall??

So they announce the recall on other sites except their own??
The word I take is from the horses mouth i.e. their own website - no offence to any site/forum but sureley Abit would announce this on their own site if only to confirm what people have read on other sites.

UK staff probably had gone home by the time that it came out but it's also possible that it only affects board shipped to the US.

It affects my board as it is within the s/n mentioned on this and Ocworkbench sites, Oh and Abit's USA site.
This may be the point where you leave Abit to defend themselves and to advise UK consumers of what they should do.

    Good point.

I guess they have used other website because why else would you visit Abit site except to look at products which you already have or are in need of support.

Be interested to know how many gotta go back.............

While it's not great that there is a fault, I think it is admirable of Abit to issue a recall in this manner.

ASUS are the biggest aftermarket mobo manufacturer. Their attitude would likely be to ignore the problem & hope it goes away, if past performance is anything to go on.

The recall notice is now on the UK site.

Please email returns@abitcomputer.co.uk if your motherboard has one of the mentioned serial numbers.

    Abit recall

Hi sean, do you send out replacement boards to those who rma their boards prior to receiving them or on receipt of the boards or are you going to check the boards and make any repairs that may be required.
I ask as I will be without a pc while you have my board.

I'm sorry but we cannot issue you a replacement until we have received the original board.

The time it takes for you to receive a replacement all depends on how many motherboards I have to process.
