    AB9 Pro- Beeping and blank screen

    I recently built a PC consisting of the following componants:
    [The aforementioned motherboard];
    an Enermax Liberty 620W;
    a 9750GX2 (although I'm using a 7100GS at the moment for testing);
    a Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz 1066FSB LGA775 etc etc
    1Gb of DDR2 Corsair PC4200.

    Whenever I try to boot up the computer I receive a blank screen along with a series of beeps: one long and three short. Furthermore the POST Code display illustrates the code "8.7." signifying "Check CPU Core voltage" yet all PSU cables are properly inserted into their connectors on the board.

    Help would be greatly appreciated

    I would suggest that you try to boot with only the bare essential parts. Try with only the CPU, the 7100GS, and 1 DIMM. If this fails, try the other DIMM alone. If you still fail, you may want to remove the MOBO from the case and try to boot on a non conductive surface. The box the MOBO came in is ideal.

    Also, it is tedious but, reset the CMOS before each try.

    Good luck, Yellowbeard.

    The problem you are having is power related. You need to check the status of your PSU and make sure there is power to the additional 12v connector.
