    why dont serillell 1's work

    dregding up the past here but why dont serillell v1 work? I bought one way back when SATA first came out on mobos but after about 1 bios update they became defunct and serillell 2 took over. I ask as I am having a nightmare with my PATA DVDRW on my AB9 Pro, CRAP performance, any thoughts?

    The Serillel1 does not support optical drives, thats why v2 was released.
