sub: it happened to me once that I could not get any audio at all (even rebooted but it didn't help). But after going to the settings, and clicking restore defaults, and adjusting only the country to the correct one, I got audio back.
See if this helps you.

Man u guys are humourless!! you know i hope they never release MMC for the 550 Pro
while im enjoying it (if it ever comes out on PAL) u will be here muttering away for eternity........GOLLUM GOLLUM!!
Hi hrlslcbr. I've just had another good go at getting audio out of Power Cinema, and try changing to other PAL countries and then back to New Zealand, but unfortunately this hasnt helped.Originally Posted by hrlslcbr
I actually have sound if I disconnect the ariel (obviously just a hissing/static noise). If I reconnect the ariel, then as soon as it locks onto a signal, it becomes deathly silent.
GraphEdit produces the extact same results - no sound on locked channels, hiss/static on invalid frequencies/channels.
I suspect this is somehow related to the ATI drivers not liking our PAL B/G sound system or something similar. Hopefully some updated drivers will appear soon that correct the issue.
In the mean time, if anyone wants to try the latest version of GB-PVR, you can download it from http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09105.msi (I obviously cant check the sound in this release myself).

Audio doesn't work with the TV tuner in GraphEdit, only S-Video and composite work.
Try to click 'restore default settings' and then changing to YOUR country.
(remember that PowerCinema doesn't work very well...).

I get AUDIO from the tuner quite easily (with GraphEdit). Maybe we have slightly different systems, but it hasn't been a problem with my system. Kudos to whoever wrote GraphEdit... great software!

That's exactly what I was expecting from your next reply
I know it may be irrelevant because we are not in a pal area, but can you send your graph to sub for grins?Originally Posted by jonaslasky

GraphEdit is connected correctly. Same thing happens for me in GraphEdit as happens in PowerCinema.
When I first change channels I do get about 1/4 second of "sound" before the silence kicks in. This sound is so short I cant really recognise if it is anything in particular. Its just a very brief burst of noise.
I've only tried getting audio from the tuner because I dont currently have a source of composite/svideo signal near my development machine. I'll drag the VCR in this evening to test this aspect of it.

I will ask him about the driver, and graphedit. Right now he is testing the latest GB-PVR. He tried several programms already, and he said that GB-PVR will be the last one. I be back, if i find anything out!Originally Posted by satnav4
Thanks. We may get gbpvr working yet.Originally Posted by steeve

Has anyone other than myself experienced the pixelization/mosaicing of the image between scene changes?
I've posted about it several times. The new drivers helped (I think), as did adding heat spreader and fan to the card, but I still see some blockiness for up to a second or two between scene changes and action shots.
