a Rio Karma for £164 is crazy, 40gb, ogg support etc, anyone going to the US sometime soon with a little spare space in their suitcase?

Not really, we're *always* ripped off in the UK, other places even in europe tend to be at parity with american prices, where as we usually have to pay the same figure but in pounds, which is just wrong, there is no attempt to have retail parity.Originally Posted by Space Cowboy

It's swings and roundabouts. Some things we get severly ripped off with but we get a good deal on other things (travel is one). Don't forget that US prices never include tax either...Not really, we're *always* ripped off in the UK, other places even in europe tend to be at parity with american prices, where as we usually have to pay the same figure but in pounds, which is just wrong, there is no attempt to have retail parity.
(air)Travel is probably about the only thing that isn't cheaper, pretty much anything else you care to mention is..
Houses, cars, electricals, food, clothes, fuel.. all cheaper, in fact the only other thing I can think of other than air travel is healthcare..
