    Hmm, wierd

Somehow I've managed to get rid of the transparent menu bar in Leopard, it's now the opaque grey 'unified' style. But I can't remember how on earth I did it, since I've been fiddling with quite a lot of different things.

I've trawled through the plists in /Library that got changed in the past 2 days, but can't find anything obvious. It's quite bizarre, though obviously a great improvement.

What I did to remove it is put a 22px high grey strip on my background. Fixes the issue perfectly

My desktop is EarthDesk (because it's purty), so that solution wouldn't work.
It doesn't happen if I switch to my admin account, so clearly it's some user-specific thing that I twiddled without realising it.

I've also managed to do this - was transparent at first but then i fiddled with *something* (don't ask me what) and now its solid grey.

Would like to know how to turn it back also, but i'm not that fussed as its actually so much better this way

I have my dock at the right hand side of the screen anyway, and it automatically puts it into the grey mode.
