    Powerbook

I cannot seem to find these details anywhere

What is the response time of a 12" Apple PowerBook (the latest range)

I am converting from a Desktop PC to an Apple PowerBook. I'm guessing the one off the Apple site comes with software such as (the equivelent of) Internet Explorer, Word etc?

    thankyou

It'll come with Safari, apple's web browser, and Appleworks, apple's office suite.

Refresh rates of the TFT..no idea. Wondered about that myself. Chances are, nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Screens on Macs tend to be nice. But then, I don't think I've seen a TFT I actually actively disliked.
    Well Hello!

The TFTs on the Mac by far are the nicest but I've heared that the 15" Combo models have a crappier TFT than the Superdrive models (duh). Maybe this also holds true for the 2 kinds of 12" pbooks?

apple don't quote anything so scary as a respnse time, as it would confuse customers. suffice to say the newer the model, the nicer the screen (i.e. the 20" desktop screen is the best of the kestop screens, the 17" and 12" laptop screens are the best in their class)
