Help needed

I think I already know the answer to this, but I thought id ask anyway.

So ive got my macbook pro running leopord and XP, via bootcamp etc, and its set up so XP is on a 25GB partition. Is it possible to extend that partition at all? Or do I have to remove the whole XP bit and re do it?

I'm not sure if this will work but in the bootcamp setup in OSX when you first make the partition you can move adjust the size by moving the slider in the image of the partitons.

I don't think there is a way of changing it without redo'n the boot camp setup sadly.

I wanted to do this same thing a while back but had to do a reinstall.

I thought not . . . oh well I suppose it will give me something to do next week, *crys at the thought of having to get all the new xp patches/downloads since SP2!*

If you can wait a few weeks sp3 is due out any time which would just be one download

There's a program that you can use to "clone" your windows partition to an external HD, think it was called Winclone... so you can erase the partition on your MBP, make it larger, then plug the HD back in and it will restore your previous windows into the larger partition....

I dont really wanna clone/ghost the hard drive image, just never really trusted any sort of app like that, so gonna start from scratch with XP SP2 on there and see how it goes from there, Im only really having to do it at short notice cause my main Pc is being VERY VERY un-LAN friendly, so Im using the MBP instead!
