    Argh, Apple really aren't my favourite company, they sent the iPod back with the same scratch down the screen, and the screen is still duff down one side and my brother said he has charged it since noon and its still dead, and now they are saying 12 weeks for it to be replaced. Never again. I will STAY AWAY FROM IPODS AND APPLE.0

    pfft ban me if you want but i think people have the right to know how crap Apple are tbh. I didn't pay 300 quid to have a lump of white crap sitting on my desk that dont work. And as for the 12 week wait are they friggin stupid or what. I will drive down to london if need be.

    Seems to me Apple are more than happy to take your money off you but geez the support is worse than pc worlds and thats the lowest of the low tbh.

    yeah noticed you changed my thread though, not on tbh

    anyway called apple they now say you only have 10 days to send it back dispite the fact i am sure you are allowed upto 28 days to send items back. so i sent the ipod back to be repaired due to the screen being buggered and the thing wouldnt charge, now get this, apple say it has to be sent back a total of three times to get a replacement at my cost. are these knobbers stupid, i am not paying for the courier three times just to get a replacement, they are refusing replacement and wont refund the amount. heres the best part after looking at the ipod they have sent it back in worse shape than it was sent off in. Apple are a complete and utter joke, and the fact they cut me off when i called and the exact words of the person on the phone "who cares, i am going home now call tomorrow" i am sorry but if that is how Apple treat their customers i am not supprised they are in the hole they are in.

    Personally i wouldn't recommend apple for anything, stay clear of this second rate company, all of you who have ipods i wish you the best of luck even getting it repaired or replaced, sell them and go get zen units atleast creative swap the unit at the door no faffing on with dumb ass muppets on a phone who couldnt care less. shame now that trading standards have accecpted the case so i guess apple will have to answer to them cos they're certainly not giving me anything and they wont respond to my calls or emails. its just not on. if i talked and acted like that to people at my work i would have my marching orders.

    it gets worse, Apple wont even talk to me now lol I call them and give them the case number and they hang up. Wonder if it is worth it to take a day off work to drive over there

    well, have you been abusibve on the phone?

    maybe thats why they are hanging up? I am no fan of apple myself, but makes sense to me that if you shout at them they are gonna put notes on the case saying that you were abusive. I would suggest you try writing them a letter, send it recorded and keep a copy. maybe send a duplicate to trading standards and then see if you get a reply.

    Would you not be a little hot tempered and pee'd off if they told you to basically fook off with your 300 quid bit of useless white crap from Apple. I think you would.

    Anyway Apple didn't like the fact that Trading Standards paid them a visit and guess what, call this morning. They are gonna replace it at the door within the next week Goes to show that their 10 day rule is a load of crap and Trading Standards tore them a new one. Oh well lets hope Apple are good for their word now. Wait and see if the new iPod turns up.

    Grey m@a i did say they weren't very good value for money if you're looking for just a mp3 player. 60GB's for £260 for me thanks. 60GB in an iPod? so that'll be £39483984?
