    My new iMac :)

Very happy with my new machine, its a fresh of breath air to use and looks stunning!

    24"/4Gb Ram/320GB HD/ 750GB External drive

Old screen and machine to the right have already been sold so the amount of wires will reduce shortly. Next thing on the list to buy is a wireless mouse, Apple should have extended the wire by at least half a metre!

It may well be considered a laptop but provides desktop functionality and is within my price range for a Mac Os X machine. No way I can I afford a Mac Pro

Experience so far is that it obliterates Vista on so many levels, no wonder Microsoft have started to copy elements!

    Re: My new iMac :)

I certainly can't argue with that. OSX is so much better to use than Vista.

Vista tries to be simple to use where OSX actually is!

Sorry for the laptop comment I just like to annoy my brother by saying it , mac boy vs pc boy as i'm sure you understand. I do very much like them and the screens are to die for.

Very nice, I'd love a Mac, but all the software I run is designed for Windows, and I'd hate to buy one and find I dislike MacOS (Only used it twice).

I'm still quite jealous though, as they really are stunning machines.

    Re: My new iMac :)

Had that very same model since early November and have been blown away by it. I use bootcamp to dual boot with Vista Home Premium because the better half can't/won't/doesn't want to get along with OS X but I have to say that I have been mighty impressed with it (the iMac and OS X Leopard) so far.

Have to admit that as I seem to be gaming less and less on a PC (XBox 360 and PS3 owner) I am coming round to the idea of switching.

My only problem would be in making a complete transition to being a smug, self-satisfied t****r without shooting myself

I'm the same, I hardly touched PC games as I got myself a PS3, I'd rather play games on the sofa relaxing and use the desk for work related tasks
