    IPod Classic Backlight

    Hello all,

    I have an ipod classic 80GB that was damaged by water, it appears to be fully working now except for one issue... the backlight wont come on. Iv tried resetting it and reformatting etc. Does anyone have any ideas how i can go about fixing this or any links to guides about taking them apart.. they seem to be a lot tougher to get into than older ipods

    bump - anyone know if the backlight is attached to the screen and replacing the screen would fix the problem?
